Under a Design-Build scenario, CCG is not only responsible for the overall construction of a project similar to the general contracting and CM approaches, but also contractually manages the project design from schematic concept to final construction documents.  This alternative is typically implemented when a client wants CCG to manage all phases of a project and desires only one responsible firm for project coordination. 


The Design-Build contract is 100% negotiated between CCG and the customer.  CCG has developed 'partnerships in principle' and preliminary agreements with a network of local licensed design professionals to deliver design-build projects to prospective clients.  As design-build contracts are often more complex and involve design liability in addition to construction risk, the overall project costs are typically greater as they include increased construction management fees.
